A construction and engineering company in Dubai needs a responsible, detail-focused HSE Coordinator to champion health, safety and environmental standards across project sites — running inspections, keeping compliance records and building a genuine safety culture. This HSE Coordinator UAE role is for someone who takes workplace safety personally.
Key Responsibilities
- Support HSE policies, procedures and site safety requirements
- Carry out regular workplace and site safety inspections
- Identify hazards and recommend corrective actions
- Help prepare risk assessments and method statements
- Monitor compliance with UAE HSE regulations
- Maintain HSE records, checklists and inspection documents
- Assist with incident and near-miss reporting and investigations
- Run safety inductions, toolbox talks and awareness sessions
- Check proper use of PPE and safety equipment
- Support emergency preparedness and response procedures
- Coordinate safety matters with supervisors, workers and management
Requirements
- Responsible, detail-oriented approach to safety
- Working knowledge of HSE procedures and UAE regulations
- Confident running inspections and safety briefings
- Strong reporting and coordination skills
